Mindfulness & Meditation

Mindfulness & Meditation helps us experience thoughts, feelings, overwhelm, anxiety and more. We explore how to understand and ‘be’ with them.

Mindfulness is a practice of intentionally focusing our attention on the present moment ~ without judgement. Noticing what is happening internally and externally and how it affects our body, mind and choices.

Mindfulness, like meditation, helps settle our thoughts, calm our mind and relax our body.

Meditation comes in many forms and offers many options. It can be as simple as noticing our breath or being captivated by the beauty of a sunset.

Thoughts are always present, and the mind believes its job is to always think and keep us safe. Meditation can befriend our thoughts, body and nervous system ~ settling our mind / releasing stress. It can also provide ease, clarity and calm.  

The 6 week Mindfulness & Meditation Series provides a structured and supportive environment to learn, explore, observe and integrate these transformative practices into our life for greater self-awareness and well-being.

Why 6 weeks?

    We will explore options and experience different practices, finding what feels good for you.

  • ... practicing mindfulness and meditation in a group setting fosters a sense of community and connection. This allows us to share experiences, offer mutual support and encouragement and learn from each other's insights and perspectives. This sense of community can enhance motivation, accountability, and engagement in the practice. 

  • ... mindfulness and meditation have been shown to reduce stress, enhance emotional regulation, improve attention and concentration and promote overall well-being.
